A Fruit Juice is the natural sugar solution from a
fruit that has been extracted / pressed and filtered from the skin,
pulp and seeds of that fruit.
- Also, this juice solution usually contains the majority of the
acid and color content of the fruit.
- All s/s fruit juice are pasteurized.
A Fruit Juice Concentrate is the single strength (S/S)
sugar / acid / color solution depectinized, filtered, and evaporated
under vacuum to a specified Brix level, usually folded 2 to 7 times
(x's) the fruit's original S/S Brix value.
- Concentration is done for ease-of-use and economical storage and
transport.
Applications
Ideal for use in recipes where the color, intense flavor and
appeal of real fruit is needed in a liquid form.
- Beverage: juices, drinks, smoothies; adds flavor
and color naturally.
- Sauces, Salad Dressings, Jams & Jellies: add
fruit identity, color and flavor.
- Confections: gummies, hard candies, jellies
- Dairy: juices, drinks, yogurts, sorbets, ice cream,
frozen novelties and desserts.
- Bakery: pastry and cookie fillings; to add taste,
color, and flavor naturally.
Product Characteristics
- 100% natural and pure; natural colorant and flavorant; contain no
artificial color or preservatives.
- Contain high nutritional attributes. Also, fat-free and low sodium.
- Shelf life: min. 2 years under correct storage temperature and conditions.
